As a non-profit organization (501c3), our mission is to provide a safe, structured environment for youth from different cultures and socioeconomic backgrounds to come together through soccer and lacrosse in order to gain social and academic skills necessary for success.
...leveling the playing field
We believe teams should mirror the demographics of Charlotte economically and racially. This creates bonds that make each child more secure in their own identity, more capable of engaging with a diverse community, and more likely to have success in contributing towards creating an inclusive society.
We realize the value of coaches serving as mentors. Our coaches are there for our youth, coaching for success on and off the field.

1sTouch Lacrosse is a local skills development program. Our primary objective is to
introduce the boys and girls to the sport of lacrosse and develop fundamentally sound and
competitive players. We do so by offering three 6-week long skills development clinics
during the spring (February 22-March 30), summer (June 21-August 3), and fall (September
20-October 26). Each series of clinics consist of rigorous weekend workouts designed
introduce new concepts each week as building blocks for more difficult skills. Players
are evaluated during the first and last practice session to document their progress. The
clinics are scheduled during the typical lacrosse off-season months and allow for current
players prepare for the upcoming season and others the opportunity to prepare for club
team tryouts. Membership with 1sTouch Lacrosse include supplemental development
opportunities as speed and agility training offered by 1sTouch. 1sTouch coaches
specialize in developing young players on and off the field.
Spring practices are held:
Performance Learning Center athletic field (1400 N. Graham Street, Charlotte, NC) on
Saturdays, 9am-10:45am and Sundays, 2pm-3:45pm beginning Saturday, February 22. The last
spring practice will be held on March 30.
